CONSONANT
CLUSTERS ENDINGS
English has many
words which end with two or three consonant sounds (clusters). This can create problems for non-native
speakers, especially those who are not used to pronouncing words with consonant
endings.
Common Problems:
Not pronouncing the last sound, so "just" sounds like
"jus." Using a T instead of
an ending D, so "hard" sounds like "heart."
