ASHA – American Speech-Language and Hearing Association
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is the national professional, scientific, and credentialing association for 186,000 members and affiliates who are audiologists; speech-language pathologists; speech, language, and hearing scientists; audiology and speech-language pathology support personnel; and students.

CSHA – California Speech Language and Hearing Association
CSHA is a professional non-profit organization to promote speech and hearing to children and adults with communication and related challenges.

NIDCD – National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders
Through research, NIDCD improves the lives of people with communication disorders. Since its authorization in 1988, NIDCD-supported scientists have made astonishing advances in the NIDCD’s mission areas of hearing, balance, taste, smell, voice, speech, and language. Numerous discoveries have expanded their knowledge base and led to improved diagnosis, treatment, and technology for people with communication disorders.
